Five islands, five kingdoms, united under one king. In the cold north, the League of Arbrecht is a fractious lot, always at each others' throats. The Vandermark basks in old honor, and religion that predates everything else. Caught in the midst, Lacharn strives to protect their peaceful culture, where women are allowed equality with men. Caelain, where the royal family of Fontenot comes from, embraces tradition and its own problems. In the farthest south, the desert land of Ahestere hails sophistication unknown anywhere else. To the west lies the island of Forsilvra, home of royal dynasty and the court, where politics dictate the future of five provinces.
Between the five provinces alliances are forged and broken, intrigues abound, and blood runs thicker than water. The nobility fight for power and wealth, influence and position. It is each house for his own, as remnants of a devastating plague leave this world with a boy king on the throne, surrounded on all sides by those who wish to manipulate him for their own gains.
Join this world as an illustrious lord or lady, a gallant knight or a vicious sellsword. Explore the intricacies of court, the desert heats or the colds of north. Forge your own destiny, and change the face of Forsilvra forever.

 | Back in 1998 the world of Witches and Warlocks was uncovered after a plot to enslave humanity was foiled. It was on that day that Project Nightshade was established. Project Nightshade is a group of dedicated scientists that seek to uncover, and eliminate those species that they deem are “threatening” to humanity. Fast forward to presnt day. New Orleans is a bustling underground of “supernatural activities”. Covens of vampires, packs of shapeshifters, ghosts, faeries and demons have found a way to co-exist peacefully in secret. Even the random “Hunter/Slayer” that finds their way into the area can see there is a difference. But the scientists at Project Nightshade are not finished. No, they are just getting started. They are close to developing a formula that will eliminate all the superaturals of the world. Demons will be forever banished to hell, Ghosts will be sent to the “afterlife”, shifters, vamps and faes will find their powers taken away. They will be human once more. And that of course, is if they cooperate. The nightshade formula is very unstable, and when administered incorrectly, will not only remove any supernatural powers found in a body, it will remove the soul as well. And once the pain starts to overtake you, your Death will be welcome. Welcome to the Nightshade Project! Opening May 31st

Off the coast of the eastern United States, there’s a small island called Mermaid Cove. Mermaid Cove appears to be a quaint little seaside village, popular with tourists, especially during the summer. Many come for the beautiful crystal blue waters and sandy beaches, some come for the unique shopping experience, others for the Legend.
You see, Mermaid Cove isn’t your typical vacation destination.
It was said years ago that one night during a full moon, a small tidal wave hit the village at exactly midnight, brought about by an earthquake beneath the ocean waves. This was a rare occurrence but nothing much to be worried about as thankfully the water did little damage. Or so they thought.
After that, some of the villagers who had been submerged in the water from the wave started having strange reactions as soon as water touched their skin - their skin would start to glisten, they would suddenly gain the ability to breathe underwater for extended periods of time and their legs would merge together and form a tail. And strangely enough, they would gain powers - special powers that allowed them to manipulate water whether it be heating it up, freezing it or merely moving it.
Many tried to leave the village, hoping that if they got far enough away, it would all fade away they would be normal again and yet found themselves returning after a while. Others revelled in this gift as they were unique and special, some staying on land as transforming humans while others chose a life under the sea. And a few feared the gift for it was hard to keep the secret just that, especially when it rained.
A law was soon passed in the village by the mayor, whose daughter was one of the victims in this freak transformation - anyone found revealing the secret of the village to an outsider would be locked away in a dry cell until they expired as per legend, a mermaid without water is truly a "fish out of water".
Thankfully Mermaid Cove was able to keep the secret under wraps, at least for a while - that was until a documentary director came to town and started to do research for his most recent project. Before the village knew it, their legend was being aired all over the United States and part of Europe, bringing in a whole new flood of people to their once peaceful sanctuary in search of the mystical mermaids the documentary had featured.
Can Mermaid Cove survive all of this attention? Or is the fate of the mermaids now in trouble? Only time will tell....

| It happened on November 26th, 2013. Humanity never saw it coming. The ethereal gates in another realm had been broken through, bringing human beings an unspeakable hoard of creatures that they never expected. The Exmortis. The gate was supposed to keep them trapped there forever, a forgotten race of terrifying beings that became trapped by humans nine thousand years ago because they carried souls, souls which contained the power of light which these demons did not carry. The beasts wrecked havoc on the world within weeks, first small towns and cities were destroyed by the approaching dark red clouds, no one understanding what was going on. They thought it was cult practices of maiming and murdering people for their sacred rituals, they also thought it was a disease that was causing people in their towns to go mad and rip each other apart but soon it was revealed to them that this wasn't the case.
Larger cities began experiencing the same fate. Reports poured in that these monstrocities were larger than life, lightning fast and agile, they could tear someone in two without even blinking. People died left and right. The military took action, at first it seemed like they were winning, but things took a turn for the worse. They didn't have the capacity to win against such cruel and twisted creatures, modern weapons weren't the answer especially when they decided to to nuke them. Soon places such as San Francisco and New York were overrun, entire locations wiped off the map becoming ghost towns. The rest of the world soon fell with the force that was to be reckoned with, everywhere was under siege. The United Nations even attempted a world army that also failed, resulting in hopeless battle plans that left more dead than it helped.
In the end, there seemed to be no hope for humanity.
Three years later, there are survivors living underground. Avoiding the hoards day by day as the demonic creatures have taken over the world. Their Lord Vlaew becoming the master of all the Earth. Without the underground facilities, many people wouldn't be left but thankfully humans came together to try and live in a dystopian society ruled by evil. Building themselves a home when all homes have ceased to be. Welcome to Exmortom. The new world awaits.

In recent months, twenty-six volunteers were selected to take part in a social experiment. They would give up one year of their life, to science. Upon completing the experiment, they would be rewarded handsomely.
For one year, they would disappear from their lives. They would tell family, work, and friends only that they were going on a Pilgrimage, and they would be gone for one year. On December 31st, 2013, they would leave their lives, and be taken to a secret place referred to only as The Compound. A large block of property and a mansion completely blocked off and barricaded away from the outside world.
No phones, no cellphones. No television, no radio. No newspapers. No letters. And no leaving, for one year. Just twenty-six very different individuals, all selected for very different reasons, living together, no matter what. Could you do it? It seemed very simple, at the time. Everything they needed would be provided... all they had to do was give up a year, and get used to hidden cameras over their shoulders. It would be worth it.
What they weren't told was that it would be a simple social observation. It would be a study, not only of how strangers would adapt to their surroundings and live together, but of how different people would react to various stimuli – including the occasional stressful situation.
Everything starts off fine and dandy. The days go by, and just as everyone is starting to get comfortable, that's when weird things begin to happen. Subtle changes, at first. For several days, the temperature in the house cannot be controlled, leaving parts of the house at sky-high temperatures. Then nothing. Then it seems like in the middle of the night, walls and hallways are changing, revealing rooms that no one seems to remember.
No power or electricity for a week. Having your inner-most secrets exposed the next. Waking up one morning to find one of your housemates - maybe one of your new friends - has been removed, and replaced. And then you discover that perhaps the lot of you aren't so random at all. It seems, that each and every one of you is somehow connected...

Mystic Hills Academy for the Gifted
On a plane of existence far excused from the knowledge of humans lies a community of mystical beings with one grand purpose: to forge a new future for younger generations where they do not have to hide the gifts they have been given. A place free of social prejudice and scorn of the different. Founded centuries ago, Mystic Hills Academy for the Gifted offers children and young adults training in their personal arts as well as the tools and guidance to help them grow where other societies may cause their gifts to be smothered and lost.
All walks of mystical being are allowed, given they are willing to abide by the rules of the elders and faculty. There is no need for tuition, or any money at all - all expenses are a moot point. Social status, wealth and upbringing have no meaning in this academy, so check your bank account at the door. The school caters to all ages from elementary aged children to collegiate. Room and board are provided, as well as a means to return back to the human realm so that no one need raise suspicion to their loved ones. To any human that knew of a student - they would simply know they were given a full scholarship to an incredibly elite school. To those that have no family to call their own - they are provided with a chance to create their own, in fellow students and elders that are willing to mentor them, listen to their problems, and help them cope and overcome them.
Once accepted into the Academy, a new student is placed under one of the eight guardian elders based upon their elemental alignment. From there, the students classification is established and they are introduced to instructors that are specifically skilled in their field to train and bolster their abilities. Alongside this specialized education are more standard courses that most students would take - though they are catered more towards mystical empowerment and education. Students are not judged by grade in Mystic Hills - but by their true ability - allowing for the truly gifted to quickly excel and not be stifled, while those that have more to learn are given more hands on training without the pressure of being the same as the rest. Dorms are separated by compatibility and elemental alignment, as well as a particular students needs.
